Family Obituary Message: "After a brave battle and with family at her side on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at Christchurch Public Hospital, aged 73 years. Much loved mum and mother-in-law of Robyn and Richard Hoekstra, Lee and the late Chris Downie. Adored Nana Ev of Riley and Erin Downie, and treasured life-long friend of Jenness Brooking. Loved youngest child of Raymond and Myrtle Karst (both dec), sister and sister-in-law of Ivan and Jeanette, the late Trevor and Connie, Judith and the late Peter, and former wife of Pierre Ringdahl. In accordance with Evelyn's wishes, a private cremation has taken place. Your life was a blessing, Your memory a treausre, You are loved behond words, And missed beyond measure. "
