Family Obituary Message: "Formerly of her beloved Dunedin, at the Ranfurly Veterans Village Hospital, Auckland. Cherry passed away very peacefully on the 19th February 2021, with her sister Glennys and niece Emma by her side. Cherry was the loved daughter of the late John and Constance Pointon and sisters Daphne and Rewa Ellen. Dear Cherry was much loved and admired by her surviving younger siblings John Pointon, Glennys Oliver and their partners, proud aunt to her nieces and nephews John, Dean, Sharon, Fraser, Emma and their partners and her eleven great nieces and nephews.
