Family Announcement: "Peacefully at Taupo Hospital on Thursday, 31st December 2020, aged 94 years. Dearly loved wife of the late John Newman. Much loved and respected mother and mother-in-law of Leigh, Peter and Katy, Steph and Rob, and Steve and Lynn. Loved and cherished Nana of her twelve grandchildren and their partners. Adored Great-Nana to her 31 great-grandchildren. A heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff at Taupo Hospital who provided extra-ordinary care to Margaret in her final days. In lieu of flowers, donations to The National Foundation for Deaf and Hard of Hearing can be made online at www.nfd.org.nz/make-a-donation.
