Joyce MEXTED Funeral Notice-Death Notice-Obituary

Family Announcement: "MEXTED, Joyce Edna. Born 1927, passed away July 25, 2022. Very dearly beloved Mum to Brent, Robyn and Suzanne, loved mother-in-law to Sheryl and Ian, adored nana to Jeremy, Jarrod and Kristen, her husband Derek and grand- nana to their children, Harper and Indie (UK). Mum taught us manners, made a mean pavlova, loved a good joke and she and Dad campervanned around many countries with her finger perpetually on the map. Mum loved her family dearly and we will all miss her dreadfully. We cannot thank enough, the beautiful staff in the Jasmine Wing at Cantabria for taking such stellar care of Mum."

  1. Nola Farr (Maggie)

I am one of Joyce’s cousins who has lost touch with her for many years. We spent a great deal of time together as children at 155 High Street in Masterton and I have good memories of those times. She had a lovely and distinctive voice, and I admired her natural elegance. I always called in to see Joyce if I was driving through Rotorua on my occasional visits to New Zealand. I’m sure her family will miss her greatly, but they will have lots of wonderful memories. My sincere condolences to you all. Maggie Farr Ipswich Queensland (nee Nola Page).
