Family Announcement: "On Wednesday, May 26, 2021, peacefully at home surrounded with the love of his family. Aged 65 years. Cherished husband and soulmate of Anne; loved son of the late Bede and Joan McCormick; beloved brother and brother-in-law of Angela, Gerard, Nicola (Melbourne), Paul and Amber, Deborah and Phil (Melbourne); much loved uncle of Sara (Vancouver), Sam, Jesse, Nick and Izzy. Anthony will be so sadly missed by his family and friends. Sincere thanks to the staff of Nurse Maude Palliative Care team, the Oncology Department and Ward B5 at Christchurch Hospital, St Georges Cancer Care and Dr Colin Waugh for their professional expertise and compassionate care of Anthony over the last 15 months.
