Family Announcement: "Aged 66 years. Rangi passed away peacefully at Taranaki Base Hospital with family by his side. A dearly loved son, brother and uncle to the Komene and Rangipunga whanua. Rangi leaves behind his only son Jarrod Komene. He was such a wonderful, generous, cheeky and kind man who gave everything to the community and loved being a part of people's lives. A much loved member of the Tukapa Rugby family, the Westend Bowling community and the deaf community." Hardings Funeral Services

Condolences to Jason and family, Rangi my friend it was a pleasure to have cross life paths with you, even if it was briefly. December 2015 we met living at the terrace city apartments rangi particularly enjoyed the couple of xmas party drinks we had at the picnic area, and the odd beer just sitting outside his front door gazing at that wonderful greenery. Peaceful quiet listening to the tui song in the trees . Rest well my friend
