Family Announcement: "HUMPHRIES, Keith John. Passed away peacefully at home on Sunday 8th May 2022, after a courageous battle with Motor Neurone Disease, aged 62 years.. Dearly loved husband of Carolyn Beloved son of Dennis and the late Evelyn and brother of Kevin (Australia) and Cat Dad of Gin. Born in Essex in 1960, Keith moved to NZ as a toddler with his parents. Keith was an avid rail and steam enthusiast, motorsport fan, especially Leadfoot and Goodwood, enjoyed tramping and loved art. Keith will be sadly missed by his many railway enthusiast friends, sister and brother in-laws, nieces and nephews and their families. Rest in peace, my darling." Morrisons Funerals

"A private cremation has been held with the family looking to hold a memorial service at a later date. The family wish to thank all the staff at Auckland and Waitemata DHB, West Auckland and Hibiscus Coast Hospices and Ratanui Medical Centre for their loving care and support. In lieu of flowers, donations to MND society or Hospice would be greatly appreciated."
