Sad to hear of Gavin’s passing. Like the above, I met the Gosneys while they owned their amazing Howick bakery, and I was friends with their son for some years. Gavin was always great fun. He wrote fantastic children’s books and his stories will be enjoyed for years to come. Thinking of his family at this sad time.

So shocked to hear this. I knew Gavin and his family for 30 years. He had a bakery in Howick and made wonderful croissants but I like mine burnt so would ring him in the mornings and say “burn me a croissant, Im coming over!” He also used to let my young daughter help in the bakery while I went and rode my horse. He was such a kind man.
