Family Obituary Message: "Emeritus Professor. Passed away peacefully and lovingly supported by family on 18 February 2021 aged 76 years. Cherished only son of Clarence and Vera. Dearly loved husband of Hilary of 50 years, adored father to Anna and Matthew and proud papa to Mia and Kate. A lifetime association with the University of Auckland, he will be missed by many. The family extend their sincere thanks to Canopy Cancer Care, Auckland Hospital and Dove House/Hospice for their support, care and compassion. In lieu of flowers donations to Dove House is appreciated."
