Family Obituary Message: "8th April 1954 - 24th February 2021. Passed away peacefully at Wellington Regional Hospital in the presence of her family. Dearly loved by the late Ken and Edna Smyth. Sister of Jacky and Pat. Mother of Kevin, Bridget and to Tina, mother-in-law to George and Mo. Grandmother of Danny, Michael, Jacob, Jenny, CC, Adam and to Josh, Levi, Jamie and Kerileigh. Cherished ex-partner/friend of Rae. She will be missed by all those who loved her.. The family wishes to thank Ward 5 South's doctors and nurses. A service to celebrate Yvonne's life will be held at The Cockburn Street Chapel, cnr Cockburn Street and Onepu Road, Kilbirnie, Wellington on Monday 1st March 2021 at 11.00am, thereafter interment at Makara Cemetery
