Family Obituary Message: "Passed away at Te Nikau Grey Hospital with loving family by his side on February 17, 2021, two days before his 89th birthday. Dearly loved husband of the late Avis, cherished dad and father-in-law of Rod and Edwina, Kerry and Gwen, Mike and Judy, Rowena and Rob, and Veronica and Mitch, loved Poppy of Rod Jnr, Mike, Rachael, Alex, Vicky, Jess, Jack, Rachael, Kris, Jess, Jodie, and Rory, loved Grandpop of Kurt, Sean, Grace, Holly, Matthew, Alexa, Chase, Levi, Krystal, Jennifer, Sam, Logan, Mason, Sasha, and Ella, plus two due in May, great-great-Poppa of Elesia, and Alexander, loved brother and brother-in-law of Geoff and Sheryl, Ray (deceased) and Gladys, Rod (deceased) and Pat, and the late Doug and Judith, a loved member of the Leach family, a precious uncle, a loved cousin and friend.
