My sincere sympathy to the family of Diane. I have bewen a friend of Diane since meeting her in the mid 1960’s through a friend of hers Claire Kayes (Smith), and over the years we have had many lunches and “catch-ups” mainly at Ladies night when the Auckland Leagues Club was held monthly. I last spoke to Diane late last year but she had had a knee problem and was not up to going out. At that time her sister Lorraine was with her and I was saddened when I read of her passing . I did phone her home in Epsom but it was disconnected but I so wanted to let the family know that I had acknowledged her passing.
