Family Announcement: "BENDIKSON, Carl Edwin. Peacefully at Mary Shapley Care Home, Whakatane on Tuesday May 10th 2022, aged 93. Cherished husband of the late Dawn for 37 years, and the late Ngaire for 7 years. Loved father and father-in-law of Graeme and Lynette, Ian (deceased) and Shona, Linda and Paul (deceased), Kathryn (deceased), Mark and Kathy, Zane and Tess. Grandfather to Careen, Kyla, Jay, Tasha, Heidi, Daniel, Michael, Hawk, and Great-Grandfather to Cooper, Aston, Connor, Bodhi, Finn, Robert, Charlotte, Amelia, Georgia, and Zoe. Thanks to those who supported in Carl's care over the last few years at the Mary Shapley Care Home, and most recently for the Hospital care at Whakatane Hospital.
