Allan BARR Death Notice.
BARR, Allan Gavin. Peacefully, on Monday, February 1, 2021, at Timaru Hospital, after a courageous battle with lymphoma, in his 80th year. Much loved husband of the late Shirley. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Judith and Rob (London), Gavin and Caroline, Sandra and Justin. Cherished Grandad of James; Jamie, Jack, Jemma and Jett; Harry and Olivia. Friend and companion to Joan Paul.
Allan Barr Death Notice Continued:
A service to celebrate Allan's life will be held at Aoraki Funeral Services Chapel, 160 Mountain View Road, Timaru, on Saturday, February 6, at 11.00am, followed by interment at Timaru Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to St John Ambulance would be greatly appreciated and may be left at the service. Special thanks to Timaru Hospital Medical Ward, Timaru and Christchurch Oncology Departments and Hospice South Canterbury for their compassion and care of Allan.
