Biography
One of the most beautiful souls that ever graced our world.
She always had a smile to share, and always time no matter the hour to care. Her life was a blessing to so many people and so many that without her care and support would of completely fallen though the cracks of society.
Her memory a pure treasure, such a special human, sister inlaw, extra for any adventure or required backup but above all a true to every corner of her being a FRIEND,
After so many achievements in her life, amazing accolades and successes to recall, there were also sadly many heartaches and battles, no matter how some almost brought her to her knees, she would forgive and carry on, never complained just picked herself up and continued on,
After a lifetime of laughter and unconditional love for those in her world her light was dimmed when she had no fight left. Rest in peace beautiful lady – thankyou for the unforgettable memories since you entered my world in 1974

Very precious lady and a true friend, was lucky enough knowing Heather since we met in Germany in 2003 at a sporting competition…seems a lifetime ago.
An amazing inspiring individual who just radiated genuine dependability and empathy from every pore. Always humble but an incredible ability to see the big picture and what was really happening. Please accept my deepest condolences for the family’s loss, I had not realised Heather had remarried.
RIP lovely lady
Just home from your 1st anniversary Memorial in Perth,
“OH what a celebration”
So many old faces and so many past stories, many a chuckle was hard, and many a tear flowed also.
Doing as you said ‘LIVE LIFE like no 2morrow’ its so ****** hard pal without U. The life has definitely been extinguished with your death, none of us have the magic touch like you to get things going smoothly at least, our leader and peacemaker no longer, and no one to really control the baton, we all try with mostly major stuff ups.
Miss our Thursday night gas bags.
Keep all up there in order kiwigirl xxxx
Thanks Trent and Bev for coming over, was awesome to see you both again. Greg enjoyed the catchup and was moved by in the attendance.
part of family group earlier in day for Heather’s 1st Anniversary
What happened to the rest of the family? all in the bar LOL…
Was a fabulous turn out as Bev said, and a credit to you all Mal, and more so a credit at the love for our girl she had from so many so far and wide. Never be another Kiwigirl to keep all together and order.
So glad we travelled over and didn’t miss her sent off and in style finally, our girl has finally had the send off she deserved. No COVID to stop us all this round.
1st memorial day!
On behalf of dad and the fam, I would like to thank all those who trekked over to the West for Heather’s memorial yesterday, for the calls, emails and messages the family and dad have received, this the 1st anniversary of Heather’s passing. To say it has got any easier is the furthest from the truth, if anything the pain is truly raw now as its not just shock of hearing she is no longer here, but having a year to realise the magnitude of her no longer among us.
What is still so amazing is how Heather was so loved by so many, her empact on so many lives for her empathy to everyone regardless of who, her ability to talk to anyone with the warmth and cheer as if she had known them forever, her way of always finding the good when everyone had abandoned and having the heart to forgive never holding a grudge no matter the hurt. A hole so deep without her presence -as the kids reminded us with there input yesterday again – no matter the day, weather or time Gran would always be front and centre at sports, dance recitals, the taxi driver or just to give a hug and share a ice cream. Always supportive and always beside you with her arm in yours whether a winner or looser, Heather never allowed you to front or be alone in the dark times. So miss her laugher, quick wit with her wicked sense of humour, and always the peace marker when muscles flexing. And a gran so missed, from the being the the support crew/manager of all activities, dance recitals, soccer games, swimming lessons, school sports days to being first aid officer for back yarn crashes, taxi driver, cheer squad manager, emotional support officer whether winner or looser, holder of the secrets. The phone number always at head of list for ringing for everyone. The laughter and light has definitely diminished since her passing, the only solace that she finally was granted peace from pain. Forever will be front and foremost in all our lives.
RIP great special lady
Love and butterfly kisses from all the Magnusson’s and wider group, the countless friends and acquaintances

Still hurts like the day we were told of you passing. No more late night phone hysterics of laughter and your wit while drinking our bubbles. Hope you finally have the peace pain free my friend and enjoying the open all hours upstairs, until we meet again sing loud my friend ***
I remember this period, what a girl, still got a smile even when she was starting the dark time and 7 months almost later she was only 40kgs skin and bone, couldnt talk after the last stroke but still had a smile no matter if anyone appeared, remember Bev and I having the most amazing conversation on a visit and all she could do was blink like morse code was sad but hilarious why we played pick a word, Heather with the **** sided grin while we both tried to pick the right words …no matter Heather had a smile and made the situation funny.
Just an amazing human with the most beautiful soul as so many say.
Many thanks for the comments guys👍
We didn’t get to do the things family do in life, and feel ever so short changed – but I know half of me was half of you and half of you is me and you travel EVERYWHERE from sun up to sun set and beyond tucked close every waking day. You had a harder life than I sister, but you never complained and you lived life to the fulliest with a kind heart and smile to warm any heart. R.I.P my sister until we get to really party in the clouds xxxxxxxxxxoooooooo
Heather’s Sissy Di, god they were look a likes.
We never met Di, but by christ the are a like alright. This was all due to her searching for family, I remember the surprises found during the DNA testing and following results at the amount of hits she got. Kiwigirl amazed at all these matches from Europe 1 and 2nd cousins.
I never knew she had a sister? can see the likeness definitely, she only mentioned a brother?
Most beautiful soul ever known, and best pal no matter what, always would be beside you even in the bad times so you never had to face anything alone. Can’t say that about most in life. Finally at peace after a life of hurts and hurdles. Of all the starts to be taken its not life without you kiwigirl. xxxxx
Thanks Christof, yes never be another Heather 😪
One of our paddles
Yes she loved a drink 🙂 and have never seen this photo Molly loved the boats and she looks young in this pic?
Was taken on the Port in the August after her surgery just before start of her treatment in of 2017
Miss you hun, life is so boring without you. Miss our GTs, wine and the mandatory evening Brandy and Dry after fortnightly squad, hope you are giving them curry up stairs and shaking things up till we meet again. xx
Oh don’t we all, its a hole so deep and has been just gut wenching. ;-(
